Vellum is darkened. Gilt is dull to the spine. To the boards the title is a little rubbed but the decorations are bright to volume one and little rubbed to volume 2. A slight ridge to the upper board of volume two. Hinges are sound. Text is slightly age toned to page margins. Tight, square copies.
