Book Description

A good copy of the first reprint of April 1931. Olive green cloth with red titles. Signed by the Author on the half title, dated May 27th 1931, inscription to a previous owner 'Xmas 1933' on the same page. The Author was a Postman in Cleobury Mortimer in the years following the First World War. There is a little scattered foxing throughout. A delightful book. ''A man who wears a bowler hat on a windy hill-top, is a man who would take his morning bath in socks and suspenders'' !
