An account of a rowing holiday by canal over three weeks in 1873 undertaken by a Mr Farrant and three friends. The manuscript log of the journey from Oxford to Oxford via Hereford Chepstow and Bristol was passed to Dr Course in 1971 by Mr Farrant's grandson . Dr Course arranged for the publication of the manuscript and researched the details of the journey adding maps and photographs. This publication is now fairly scarce . Ideal for Canal historians.
