Rumbo Rhymes or the Great Combine: A Satire
Book Description
Beautifully illustrated with full page colour plates by Walter Crane. Decorative cloth board in green & red over green cloth spine and red lettering to the spine. Light marks to the boards & rubbing and light scuffing to the tips of the spine. Internally clean with bright and fresh plates and only sporadic light marks to a few pages. Webbing showing on a few places and overall a little shaky but still a very good copy. 99pp. 'Rumbo Rhymes tells the story of a meeting held by all the animals in the world. They talk about mans abuse and use of animals for food. They come up with a plan to stop man by making him sick when he eats any living creature'.
