Book Description

Schlinder's Ark, Thomas Keneally, Hodder and Stoughton, 1982, First Edition, First Impression Winner of the Booker Prize and adapted for film in 1993 staring Liam Neeson and directed by Stephen Spielberg, this novel is based on the fictionalised story of Oskar Schindler, a member of the Nazi Party who becomes an unlikely hero by saving the lives of 1,200 Jews during the Holocaust. In near fine condition, the binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. There is a crease mark to the top corner of the front board. The end papers and papers are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. The clipped dust jacket is in near fine condition with nibbling to the top corner of the front cover, a crease to the top of the spine and a crease to the edge of the back cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
