Book Description
A copy of a delightful and scarce children's picture book from the 1930s (undated but with gift inscription from 1936), 'Sleepytails' by Elizabeth Fairholme. Appears to be Fairholme's only picture book of the period - and it's a bit of a joy! Featuring a different animal for each day of the week, there are seven 'tails' in all. Beautifully illustrated by Fairholme, each story ends with a small vignette of the animal in question; these have been neatly coloured by a previous owner (see photos). Boards have some rubbing(especially top of spine), but the book generally presents well.
