Note: Apparently half-titles not called for. Previous owner’s attractive bookplate pasted to end-papers in each volume. Rebound later in half calf leather, with marbled blue boards and matching end-papers, floral motif on spine, and top edge gilt, red & green leather title labels on spine, raised bands by Henderson and Bisset, Edinburgh. Some mottling on the leather of each volume, otherwise a very good copy of this difficult to find title.
