Autobiography covering the teenage years and early adulthood of the journalist and, later, gay rights campaigner. contains a lots of memories of Northampton and Leicester in the 1950s and 1960s. Blue cloth with white title to spine is clean and neat. Foxing to closed page edges and with some spotting and discolouration to endpapers and to the upper margin of the last few pages of the book. Dust jacket is slightly dust marked. and a little worn to the very edges. Contemporary review of the book by Colin MacInnes laid in.
