Dealer Notes
Robert Burton’s The Aanatomy of Melancholy is one of the last great works of English prose to have remained unedited. This is the authoritative edition of the work. The text is based on a complete collation of all six editions published in Burton’s lifetime. Three volumes of text are followed by commentary and an index. Complete sets are very uncommon.
