The Beano Book 1940. Published by D. C. Thomson. The scarce first edition. Very bright covers with light rubbing and a few minor marks. The spine is missing. The book is firmly bound with all pages tightly bound in. Inscription. Very light page tanning. A couple of pages have a faint indentation where a bit of pencil doodle had taken place, this being almost invisible. A very nice, affordable example of the first Beano Book.
