Dealer Notes
New [second] edition, revised and augmented by R. Bowdler Sharpe. Greatly enlarged from the unillustrated first edition of 1867. Sharpe rewrote much of the original text, and identified several new species. Also included in this edition are 12 fine hand-coloured lithographic plates by Keulemans. There is a gap in pagination between pages 856 and 867 (end of text and beginning of index) - this is the case in all copies.
