Book Description

This is a H/Bk copy of “The Book of The Flower Fairies” by Cicely M Barker and published by Blackie & Son. There is no dust jacket. The book consists of Flower Fairies of the Spring, Flower Fairies of the Summer and Flower Fairies of the Autumn. The Book is bound in green cloth with gilding on the cover and spine. There is a gift inscription on the front end paper for Christmas Day 1930 or 1939! There are 92 pages of text and 72 full page colour plates. There are a number of marks on some of the pages but the majority are clean and the binding is good. The spine is lightly faded but not noticeably. A nice clean copy.
