This is a large framed hand coloured engraving published in 1796 featuring a scene from Horace Walpole’s classic Gothic Novel, The Castle of Otranto, titled Theodore & Matilda, the scene shows Theodore pledging his love to Matilda, framed in an old black and gilt bordered frame, the frame measures 56cm by 45cm approx., there are a few small marks to the lower right corner of the print, and general lighter marking to the borders, with a couple of small edge tears, else in good general condition, PLEASE NOTE, overseas buyers welcome, but the print would have to be removed from the frame for shipping abroad.
