Handsome contemporary presentation binding of dark-blue morocco; the boards with decorative borders in gilt and blind and with titles in gilt to the upper board; the spine with five raised bands, ruled in gilt. Gilt dentelles. All edges gilt. Decorative green foliate patterned endpapers. Original colour pictorial wrappers bound in. Illustrated throughout with numerous sepia tinted photographic plates, plus two colour plates. A near fine copy, the binding square and tight with just some minor wear to the extremities. The contents remain clean and crisp throughout.
