Leeds (1885) v, 106 large pp + 40 chromolithograph plates. Ltd. ed., no. 36 of 600 copies. Very fine in original half red calf, t.e.g. marbled boards a little rubbed and calf worn. Folio (13 x 18") First published in 1813 which at the time was the first English book to depict a steam engine. Other views include views of the Militia regiments, horse dealers, jockeys at the races, factory children, etc.
