8vo. 5 volumes, set. First editions (except for volume 1 which is a second impression two months after the first). Original black cloth with printed paper labels to spines. Frontispiece and a few other plates to each volume. Spine labels tanned and slightly rubbed. Spine ends a little worn. Each volume has the bookplate, ‘Rissa, Her Book’ and the ex libris blind stamp of Derek Gair Gibson. The first two volumes have a pencil ownership of E. W. Margesson on the front pastedown. Very good.
