Very slight foxing but overall, in very good firm condition.

A very nice association copy. Sir John Lubbock was one of the leading intellectuals of the 19th century who entered into a dispute in particular with Charles Lyell – Lubbock accused Lyell of planarization. This dispute dragged on among scientific circles for much of this period. Post free.
