Published by Jarrold & Sons, Norwich, 1887, limited edition of 350 copies. Publishers original half leather binding with marbled paper boards. Gilt lettering to spine. Teg. 11ins x 8.25ins, 120pp plus 50pp plates. The plates were drawn by Percy E. Stimpson. Title page printed in red and black. Text pages printed on thick quality paper, plates printed on glossier stock. This is no 235 of the demo quarter size, there were also 50 copies in large imperial size. Bookplate of Sir Alfred Sherlock Gooch (1851-1899, 9th Baronet Gooch of Benacre Hall, Suffolk) to front pastedown. Browning to both free endpapers, some minor scratch marks to the marbled paper on the front of the book but overall VG.
