Book Description
[x], 129, [1] pages. This a thick paper copy on better quality paper than the usual edition. Signed by the author at the head of the title page and later presented by his son to the local historian E.A.B. Barnard in 1919. Pasted in are a few cuttings and related booklets and also some letters. There are some of EAB Barnard's neat pencil notes in the text. Bound in full leather by I Bushill, Cow Lane Steam Works, Coventry with their label to the rear pastedown. Wear to spine and few small stains. 9 lithographic plates [of which 7 are tinted, 2 are plans], 1 other plate and further woodcuts in the text - complete as listed. Some light foxing. Blockley was in Worcestershire, but now in Gloucestershire.
