Printed for Thomas Tegg, London, 1840, new edition. Original brown patterned cloth boards with a lighter brown replacement spine. Gilt label on cloth (probably from the original binding) to the spine. 9ins x 6.25ins, endpapers list other books published by Tegg, [ii], xxiv, 688pp plus folding plan of Cambridge and 4pp plates. Text page opposite last plate has offsetting. Title page browned and has previous owners signature to top of page. Corners rubbed and worn but otherwise a VG copy.
