Hardback. Signed and inscribed first edition copy of this memoir by Christopher Milne, “Christopher Robin”. To the half title page is a short letter to a Miss Pennington on the occasion of her hundredth birthday. in it Milne mentions his father’s centenary, A. A. Milne having also been born in 1882. It is signed “yours sincerely, Christopher Milne, 1982” to the end of this letter. This, the last in Christopher Milne’s trilogy of works escaping the famous childhood, deals with the solace of landscape and nature. Photographs throughout by James Ravilious. A signed, first edition copy in unclipped dust jacket. Green boards with gilt titles to spine are very clean but slightly bumped to tail of spine. Dust jacket is very clean and neat.
