Spine is faded with bumping to ends. Foxing to the page edges. Both inner hinges are cracked, but holding. Textblock has one or two grubby marks but is generally clean. Bookplate to fep. Previous owner's mark to ffep, dated 1927. Pagination: xxxi, 404 pp + advert. Numerous illustrations - 11 maps & plans, some folding, 2 photogravure illustrations.
