Attractive Mauchline ware style binding showing flowers and a butterfly to the front panel, within double gilt and single blue and gilt ruled borders. Plain rear board. Red morocco spine with raised bands, the compartments ruled, lettered and decorated in gilt. Blue floral patterned endpapers. All edges gilt. Neat repairs to the inner hinges and a previous owner four line inscription to the front blank free endpaper otherwise a very good copy of this attractive volume.
