The sole UK printing published by Southern Railway Of England, London in 1935. The Book is in near Fine condition with just a hint of toning to the spine and the outer card edges. Very slight rusting of the staples. 16 x 10 cm. A booklet to celebrate the Royal Jubilee 1935. Stiff card covers with Ravilious wood engraved 'Crown & Sceptre' designed paper cover. pp 41. Printed at The Curwen Press. Three essays by S.P.B. Mais, Charles Graves and D.I. Frazer Harris. The title page has wood engraved vignette, 'Lighthouse', plus there are three further wood engravings, 'one suggesting rural tranquillity, the second depicting history and the third for joyous recreation' 'A tiny but exquisite booklet' (Pat Gilmour, 'Artists At Curwen'). Engravings, contents and five panel folding map all fine. The booklet is provided in an archival folder. Scarce.
