Groom:, occasional annotations in pencil in margins. Ink stain on p. 154 light foxing to plates, plate X heavily foxed but a nicely bound copy of an influential work by the renowned Victorian architect and writer. Section I deals with the materials employed in building; Section II with methods of combining the principal materials; Section III with the Orders and their parts; Section IV with a Cursory View of Ancient Architecture and Section V is a Dictionary of Technical Terms.
