Book Description

Limited edition. A set of 9 etchings and poems by Shirley Jones, the link theme being a version of the mandala symbol appearing in each image. The text was set in the Boldoni typeface and printed on a hand-press by J & N Morley of Kenley on mould-made paper by J Green of Kent. This edition limited to twenty-five copies of which this is number five. Each etching is signed and dated in pencil by the artist. All contained in a hessian-covered solander box blind-stamped with the title and with a circle in gilt stamped to the upper cover. Jones’ scarce third book. Internally fine. The solander box is rubbed to the outer edges with a few small splits to the inside edges, a stain to the bottom right-hand corner and the occasional mark, a scratch to the gilt circle on the upper cover.
