FIRST REYNOLDS STONE EDITION. 8vo. (7.2 x 5.9 inches). 160pp. Decorative designs by stone printed in blue on each sonnet page. Printed at Chiswick Press using Eric Gill's 13 Point Perpetua type. Fine early leather binding of full dark blue morocco, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe of London. Spine with five raised bands, each with gilt piping. The compartments ruled, lettered and decorated in gilt. Single ruled gilt border on boards. Board edges with gilt floral roll. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Turn-ins with double gilt ruled borders. A small bump to the bottom outer corner of the lower board and some very mild toning to the spine, but with the gilt still bright and vibrant, otherwise this is a fine copy of this lovely edition, beautifully printed and in an attractive leather binding.
