Title page undated, The British Library date this delightful and rare children’s book to 1902, a fairy tale set in flowerland in a story in which flowers play a big part with illustrations of flowers to nearly every page of text, along with twenty full page illustrations, bound in bevelled edged pictorial cloth boards, 9.5 inches tall approx., 200 pages including a rear index of flowers.
The cover has some marking, some snags to cloth on edges, noticeable lower corner bump, internally browning to endpapers and half title page, lower page corners bumped throughout, a few light marks else contents generally nice and clean.
