First edition in unclipped dust jacket. 164pp. Memoir of the writer and publisher John Lehmann who had two stints working with Leonard and Virginia Woolf at The Hogarth Press and publishing writers such as Christopher Isherwood, Wiliam Plomer, Roy fuller, and Henry Green. 8pp. of illustrations. Dust jacket drawing is by Elizabeth Hepworth who worked at The Hogarth Press with John Lehmann.
Olive boards with gilt titles to spine are very clean and neat. Foxed to top edge. Dust jacket has some faint, uneven sunning.
