1st edition, a very good copy of the WW1 poets verse, some previously published in various journals with other unpublished poems. Two tone portrait frontispiece, pp 30. The front paste down has the book plate of Olive Guthrie of Torosay Castle. The novelist Angela du Maurier, older sister of Daphne du Maurier, is said to has spent some time residing at Torosay with her close companion Olive Guthrie. Angela dedicated her book 'Weep No More' (1940) to 'Olive Guthrie of Torosay'. Olive Guthrie was aunt, by Marriage, of Winston Churchill, who also visited the Caste in the 1930's
