Dealer Notes
Many of the pieces in this collection have never been published before. "Wedding Preparations," though never finished, is an early story which shows Kafka "at the outset of his literary career, already a master of language, but still uncertain how best to handle his material" (from the jacket). "Letter to My Father" is an interesting example of the complex relationship between artist son and businessman father, short sections of which have only appeared before in "Letters to Milena". Also included are a large number of stories and fragments from the notebooks. An important collection.
