Winnie the Pooh | 1926 1st Edition / 1st Impression | HB with later DJ

Book Description
The original green hardback boards are in good condition. Corners and edges are bumped and shelf worn. The spine is straight and binding is tight, the top and tail are bumped. The gold gilt detailing and titles are clean and legible. Internally, the pictorial endpapers are in good condition with minor wear and light foxing. The text block is free from any previous owners marks or inscriptions. Generally, the pages are in good condition with some showing signs of wear, light soiling and foxing. Page 77 has a minor tear to top edge which the previous owner has unfortunately sellotaped - no restoration works have been undertaken. The book lacks the original 1st edition 1st impression dust jacket, but is now housed in a 1927 edition jacket (apparent by later advertisements on the rear flap). The jacket is in good condition, with shelf wear and chipping to the edges and some soiling and loss to the top and tail of the spine.
