World Map Air Travel Poster 1930. A map of the air routes of the world made for the game of Conquest of the Air by the Mainichi Newspaper Company of Osaka. On paper size 107 by 76 cm. Colour. Produced as part of an educational game. The map is bordered by a series of photographic images of landmarks and people. The routes are shown in a stylised manner and each country has its flag over its location on the map. Text in Japanese. Has been folded. Some strengthening to folds at the reverse. Good condition.
