Dealer Notes
Coxe, historian and Church of England clergyman, A more irreproachable friendly man did not exist. He was always benevolently employed, & at his funeral the congregation disturbed the service with sobs. After a great dinner, he used to steal into his kitchen, and give his cook a guinea. His domestics never left him, a strong but silent compliment.
