Portrait, illustrations, folding facsimiles. 25 cms. Publisher's cloth backed boards. Spine gilt, the paper sides rubbed on the edges. The contents are clean and crisp. A very good copy. A printed note on the title verso states 'One hundred copies all for presentation'. Bradford founded the Philadelphia Journal in December 1742, was appointed the official printer to the Congress in Philadelphia at its first meeting in 1774 and so became the printer of Congress's Declaration of Independence in 1776..
