This work constitutes a reprint with additional emendations of the first two volumes of British Birds with their Nests and Eggs (1896-1899), with the substitution of colour plates of the birds.

vi, 210; vi, 215 pp., 115 col plates, 2 vols, roy. 4to, orig. qtr buckram, blue cloth boards, rubbed to extremities, a few small marks, teg. There is a small area of colour loss to the top corner of the egg plates (erasure of small ink stamp?), and faint sign that a small label has been removed from the foot of each spine. Good, well-preserved set. Plates clean.Z
