Richard Porson was an academic who rose from a background of poverty who went on to become Regius Professor of Greek at Cambridge, he was a Trinity man. The Porson Prize is awarded at Cambridge for the best translation into Classical Greek verse. William Sharp, (1749 - 1824) was a British engraver and artist of note
