Two separate books, the first title in third edition, the second in first edition and issued, so the author states in his preface, “the success of my little book on Ladies’ Fancy Dresses ... now passing through its third edition”. Both 8vo. pp iv, 168, [2]; [vii], 66, [4]. 16 coloured plates in first title, 62 uncoloured, with 16 plates in the second work, all uncoloured. Original cloth, gilt title lettering to upper boards and spines. Head of spine and corner tips rubbed and some surface marks to lower board of first title.
