No loss of colouring to the spine. The Kenneth Burrows designed wrapper artwork looks very attractive in the removable Brodart archival protector.The book has been SIGNED by DAVID LODGE to the title page and a ticket for the signing event accompanies this title as provenance. This copy belonged to Bernard Bergonzi and bears his name to the front blank endpaper. Bergonzi is a British literary scholar, critic and poet.He is Emeritus Professor of English at the University of Warwick and is an expert on T.S.Eliot. He has published work on David Lodge. The book bears Bergonzi's pencilled comments to the rear pastedown and a few simple pencilled lines in the text in a few places. The Author's second novel and scarce to find SIGNED. Collectible.
