Book Description

It is widely accepted that Henry 'Gino' Watkins would have become one of the most celebrated Polar explorers if it were not for his untimely, accidental death in 1932 at the age of 25. Watkins led four expeditions to the North & South Poles, as well as desolate regions of Greenland. At the time he was the youngest recipient ever to receive the Royal Geographical Society's prestigious Founder's Medal. Their adventures were covered on a daily basis by The Times for which he wrote exclusively.
