Marbled endpapers. All gilt edges. Size 48.5cm x 30cm (19 x 12.5 inches) Illustrations; Approx. 124 steel-engr.plates / plans, etc., all present as called for. A.e.g. In very good condition. Some very minor rubbing to edges, a few faint marks, volume IV has a few very light scuff to back board edges. Volume I very faint crack lower front hinge. Inside generally clean clean inside overall, with occasionally some foxing / off -setting. No ownership inscriptions. Although stating on the title page that a map is present, this does not seem to have been issued with the third edition (see Squibb: The Plates in Hutchins' History of Dorset).
