Book Description
This book serves as a record & narrative of this battalion during the First World War, a battalion that was on active service in many of the famous battles including the Somme, Vimy Ridge, Passchendaele, & Ypres. The author served in this battalion for the whole of its existence, and so was in a privileged position to write such a book. This copy was in the personal collection of the Mainwaring family as confirmed by the ink signature on the inside front cover.
