Map of Italy. L'Italie Dresse sur les Observations de l'Academie des Sciences par Guil Delisle revised by Dezauche and published by Dezauche, Paris 1802. On folding linen in 12 sections, size 63 by 49 cm. With thirteen different scales which include the miles of Genoa, Rome, Modena, Venice, Mantua and Parma, plus Italian miles and French leagues, a key to the 20 departments of Piemont (Piedmont) and Italy and a decorative cartouche surrounding the title. The map covers Italy with part of today's Provence, Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica, and the coast of Croatia, Albania and Dalmatia. Hand-coloured. Minor foxing and occasional spots but overall in Good to Vg condition.
