Book Description

No. 787 of limited edition of 1000 copies. Signed on the pre-title page by the author who also illustrated the book with his artwork. 'North Norfolk: Wildlife Through the Seasons', the author's first book, is a monthly account of the North Norfolk wildlife year illustrated by very atmospheric water colour paintings and sketches that depict North Norfolk and its wildlife, supported by good knowledgeable written content. James McCallum is an artist based in North Norfolk. He is a graduate of The Royal College of Art and is best known for his watercolour paintings of the natural world, particularly birds, made outdoors from life. Working directly from nature has enabled him to develop a thorough knowledge of the visual language and behaviour of wildlife in its chosen surroundings. Illustrated throughout by colour paintings; This book was limited to 1000 copies & is now 'out of print' in the hardback edition.
