Book Description
First edition. This work forms Milne’s second collection of nursery verses for children. The character Pooh features in several poems. Delightful poems include: 'King John's Christmas', 'Sneezles', 'Us Two', and 'Twice Times'. The last poem in the collection, 'The End' recounts a child’s five years of life noting 'But now I am six, I’m as clever as clever. So I think I’ll be six now for ever and ever'.
The work is copiously illustrated by Ernest H. Shepard with line drawings that include images of Christopher Robin, Pooh, Piglet, and friends.
