FINLAY, Ian Hamilton with Antonia REEVE. Original print titled ‘La Revolution est un Bloc’. London: ICA (Institute of Contemporary Art) 1992. The image depicts a bronze sculpture of an axe buried in a “wooden” block bearing the title text. The axe has two long thin strands of ribbon length hanging from the handle. Printed brown on cream art paper. One of an edition of only 30 copies issued by the Institute of Contemporary Art during his exhibition held there Instruments of the Revolution as one of their ICA Editions prints. Image and sheet size: 61.5cm x 50cm. Fine condition, as issued. .
