Large Paper copy, folio (approx. 13 x 9 inches): xii, 159[1] pp, with a map, portrait and 30 aquatint plates (complete), woodcuts to text; some offsetting of plates to text; bound without half-title; watermarked to some margins 'J Whatman 1794'. Contemporary full calf, later reback, raised bands and contrasting label, a little scuffed in places.

Contains a section on Hay on Wye with two full page aquatints - 'Hay Brecknockshire' and 'Hay Castle'
