This is a nice framed original theatre playbill for the New Theatre at Bridgnorth in Shropshire, advertising their production of a play and a farce during horse racing week in July 1825, the play to commence as soon as the last race is over The play being Touchstone, or, the World is Gone by the author of “Raising the Wind” and the laughable farce Catherine & Petruchio, Printed in the town by Gitton. Including the frame the poster measures 32cm by 20.5cm approx. Some light foxing else in good general condition.
