Sheffield March 1841.Followed by the Dedication to the First Edition [1821] to Jonadab Micklethwaite Esq.etc etc.but Unrecorded by COPAC A third edition dated 1857 was published by Thomas B Turton the steel manufacturer in tribute.The authors father was a razor & scissor maker on Carver Street and his brother Samuel Smith was Master Cutler in 1839.
