Dealer Notes
First published in October 1919, this ‘revised’ edition was printed in April 1922 but the only change was the Preface dated Christmas 1921. The first volume had been arranged alphabetically by architect but for this volume, ‘the subjects are grouped with reference to the traditions which inspired them.’ The properties begin with Stoneywell Cottage designed by Ernest Gimson and built by Detmar Blow. Scarce in the jacket which lists other volumes in The “Country Life” Library.
